F.A.Q.
You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers! The concept of coworking takes many shapes and forms, but at the district, it’s all about customizing your experience to fit you and your team. Our approach is member focused, so let us know how we can assist you in creating the perfect space for your business.
What is coworking?
Coworking is the new normal for cost-effective, flexible, amenity-rich officing in a collaborative, results-driven professional environment. The concept has evolved over the last 10 years to offer expert hospitality services and a host of elevated amenities and technology to solve modern challenges in finding space that suits an organization’s fluctuating needs.
How can my team work from a coworking space?
It’s easy. Private offices in a coworking space are just like regular office suites; however; your team will be greeted every day by professionally-designed, collaborative spaces that are meant to optimize their productivity. The District’s fully-furnished private office suites also cover all basic office needs like a break room/kitchenette, private phone booths, and fresh coffee. As an added bonus, there is an on-site Community Manager that’s responsible for all concerns and feedback including facilities maintenance, meeting and/or events coordination and day-to-day concierge services.
Do we need a lease?
NO! The District uses a Service & Use Agreement that is customized for every company. Terms can start at as little as 6 months, with price breaks for longer agreement terms. Shared common areas and utilities put office pricing on a sliding scale based on number of employees, not square footage alone. Plus, different types of workspaces can be packaged together. For example, an 8-person office can be packaged with 2 dedicated desks in nearby flex workspace, and this agreement can also include reserved conference room time. It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
